Bending Small Copper Rivets for Wishbone Construction

When working with thin layers of wood, bending around a form requires precision to avoid gaps between laminations. For our project, MOUSE, a glued-lapstrake gunter yawl, we designed a bending form consisting of two layers of 3/4' exterior fir plywood. Holes were drilled around the inside perimeter to accommodate multiple clamps. We then milled a 44'-long piece into 1/8'-3/16' x 3/4' strips that could withstand incredibly tight bends.
